RememberingFontaineFerryPark[Book: Ron Puckett – 1980s – 21x27cm – 24 Pages – Many B&W photos]. Oh, those were the days of our youth! There are amusement parks all across the USA, but there will never be another quite like Fontaine Ferry Park. Sitting at the end of Market Street, just north of Shawnee Park, it served the citizens of Louisville, Kentucky, for nearly 70 years. As one of the nation’s most famous amusement parks, it also served as a model for parks all around the country. ANDY SHINE’S RATING: Good.
