AllAboardForLunaPark[Book: Patricia Filer – 2000 – 18x22cm – 48 Pages – Many B&W photos]. Between 1907 and 1913, visitors were drawn to Luna Park in West Seattle. This “Coney Island of the West” featured a marvellous carrousel, a Shoot the Chutes water slide, the Great Figure 8 roller coaster, a saltwater Natatorium, games of chance, exciting sideshow events, and a variety of shows and concerts. Visitors would come from Seattle by ferry or trolley and spend a day enjoying the Park and beach. Come with us now and visit Luna Park in her heyday… All Aboard! ANDY SHINE’S RATING: Good.
